Privacy Policy
Last Updated: July 6, 2026
1. INTRODUCTION
This Privacy Policy explains how AcrelyAg LLC ("AcrelyAg", "we", "us") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you use acrelyag.com and the AcrelyAg Service. By using the Service you agree to this Policy.
2. INFORMATION WE COLLECT
When you use AcrelyAg, we collect:
- Account information: name, email address, phone number, farm name, state, and county provided during signup.
- Farm data: field names, boundaries, acreage, crop types, cost inputs, yield estimates, contracts, and price data you enter into the Service.
- Usage data: pages visited, features used, device and browser type, IP address, timestamps, and diagnostic logs.
- Payment information: billing details are processed and stored by Stripe. AcrelyAg does not store credit card numbers.
3. HOW WE USE YOUR INFORMATION
We use the information we collect to:
- Provide, operate, secure, and improve the Service;
- Generate farm financial calculations, AI insights, and recommendations tied to your operation;
- Send transactional messages, account notices, and service updates;
- Respond to support requests;
- Process subscription payments and prevent fraud;
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
4. LEGAL BASES FOR PROCESSING
Where applicable law (such as GDPR-style regimes) requires a legal basis, we rely on:
- Contract: to provide the Service you signed up for and to manage your subscription.
- Legitimate interests: to secure the Service, prevent fraud and abuse, understand feature usage, and improve product quality — balanced against your rights.
- Consent: where required, for optional communications you opt into.
- Legal obligation: to comply with applicable tax, accounting, and legal requirements.
5. YOUR FARM DATA IS YOURS
AcrelyAg does not sell, rent, or share your identifiable farm data, field information, cost data, or financial information with any third party for advertising, marketing, or commercial purposes. Your farm data is used to provide the Service to you.
6. AGGREGATED AND DE-IDENTIFIED DATA
We may create anonymized and aggregated data derived from Customer Data — for example, county-level yield ranges or regional cost benchmarks — that cannot reasonably be used to identify you, your farm, or your fields. We may use such anonymized, aggregated data to operate, benchmark, and improve the Service and to produce industry-level insights. We will never sell identifiable farm data.
7. SUB-PROCESSORS AND THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
To operate the Service, we share limited information with the sub-processors below. Each maintains its own privacy and security practices.
| Sub-processor | Purpose | Location |
|---|---|---|
| Stripe, Inc. | Subscription billing and payment processing. AcrelyAg does not store card numbers. | United States |
| Supabase, Inc. | Managed database, authentication, and file storage used to host your account and farm data. | United States |
| OpenET | Field-level evapotranspiration and irrigation data derived from satellite sources for water intelligence. | United States |
| OpenWeatherMap | Weather forecasts and historical weather context tied to field locations. | United States / EU |
| NewsAPI | Agricultural news headlines shown in the Service. | United Kingdom |
| Anthropic PBC (Claude) | AI model used to generate plain-English recommendations and insights from your data. Data sent for inference is not used by Anthropic to train foundation models under its commercial API terms. | United States |
We will provide notice on this page before adding a material new sub-processor.
8. DATA STORAGE AND SECURITY
Customer Data is stored using industry-standard encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest. Access to production systems is limited to authorized personnel and is logged. No system is perfectly secure; you use the Service at your own risk and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials.
9. BREACH NOTIFICATION
If we become aware of a security incident that results in unauthorized access to or disclosure of your personal information, we will notify affected users without undue delay and, where practicable, within 72 hours of confirming the incident. The notice will describe what happened, what information was involved, and the steps we are taking. Where required, we will also notify applicable regulators.
10. DATA RETENTION
We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you cancel your subscription, your data is retained for 90 days and then deleted, unless you request earlier deletion or we are required to retain it for legal, tax, or accounting purposes. Backups may persist for a limited additional period before rotation.
11. YOUR PRIVACY RIGHTS
You have the right to:
- Access the personal information we hold about you;
- Request correction of inaccurate information;
- Request deletion of your account and data;
- Export your farm data in a portable format;
- Withdraw consent where processing is based on consent.
To exercise these rights, email support@acrelyag.com from the address on your account. We may need to verify your identity before acting on a request.
12. CALIFORNIA AND OTHER U.S. STATE PRIVACY RIGHTS
Residents of California and other U.S. states with comprehensive privacy laws (including Colorado, Connecticut, Virginia, Utah, Texas, and Oregon, among others) may have additional rights, including the right to:
- Know what personal information we collect and how we use it;
- Access, correct, or delete personal information;
- Opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising;
- Limit the use of sensitive personal information;
- Appeal a denial of a privacy request, and be free from retaliation for exercising rights.
AcrelyAg does not sell your personal information and does not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To exercise your state privacy rights, email support@acrelyag.com. If we deny your request you may appeal by replying to our decision.
13. DO NOT TRACK
Some browsers offer a "Do Not Track" ("DNT") signal. There is no industry-standard response to DNT, and AcrelyAg does not use cross-site tracking or advertising cookies, so the Service does not currently respond differently to DNT signals.
14. COOKIES
AcrelyAg uses essential cookies for authentication and session management only. We do not use advertising or cross-site tracking cookies. Blocking essential cookies will prevent the Service from functioning correctly.
15. UNITED STATES SERVICE
AcrelyAg is offered to and intended for users located in the United States. Data is stored and processed in the United States. We do not target the Service to users in the European Union, United Kingdom, or other jurisdictions with distinct data protection regimes. If you access the Service from outside the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local law.
16. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY
AcrelyAg is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
17. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Material changes will be communicated by email or in-app notice. Continued use of the Service after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.
